Why should we assume that the Americans all the soda and beer to drink cheap wine? I do not. Many of my friends did not. Many Americans drink soda because it tastes good, and that's what we were raised on. Many people (all countries), drinking cheap beer, that's all I can afford or because they are the victims of advertising. Why are the Italians (in Italy) proud to serve, if Heinekin Birra Peroni and Moretti are much better? Or if they can be easily imported spade Paualner, Germany Hofbrau and Lowenbrau?
NOCAL as wines go, some are large and some are undesirable. Many are too expensive, on the laurels he won many years ago (Opus One). Personally, I've started testing and expansion of opportunities when it comes to wine and beer!

When I lived in Germany, I saw lots of German beer drinking, but never a drunken German if I am in France I saw many people drunk on French wine and a few drunks. You know the type, dirty, give dirty, smelly, and to pull their pants down to go to the toilet. It seems that beer and beer that goes well. Northern California wines are excellent for the kitchen.
